SFPでは、世界最大の小売業者から職人漁師まで、水産物のバリューチェーン全体にわたって、困難な問題に対する現実的な解決策を見出すために活動しています。SFPの協働と問題解決には定評があります。私たちは厳しい真実を語り、論争を避けることはありません。しかし、私たちの唯一の目的は、漁業と養殖業の改善を推進することです。

そして、100％持続可能な水産物を実現する唯一の方法は、最良の供給源や改善された少数の供給源に焦点を当てるのではなく、すべての漁業と養殖業を改善することであることを私たちは知っている。

そのため私たちは、パートナーに調達先を変更するよう促したり、業績不振や管理不十分な漁業のボイコットやレッドリスト入りを支持したりはしません。むしろ、私たちはパートナーや世界中のパートナーに、問題の解決に協力し、漁業者、生産者、加工業者、その他の利害関係者と関わり、どのような改善が必要かを考え、その目標達成を支援するよう求めているのです。
