Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager (remote, United States)

Established in 2006, Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) is a US-registered nonprofit that operates globally, dedicated to marine conservation. Our mission is to foster a world where oceans thrive, seafood is sustainably sourced, and everyone can access sustainable seafood. Through collaboration with seafood buyers and retailers across the supply chain, we work to restore depleted fish stocks, mitigate the environmental impacts of fishing and aquaculture, address social issues in the fishing industry, and enhance economic opportunities for fishers and their communities. Our Supply Chain Roundtables (SRs) provide a platform for seafood suppliers to collaborate in a non-competitive setting, driving improvements in fishery and aquaculture practices, management, and policy.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager.

SFP has performed well in delivering on existing grants (retained foundational donors for over a decade). We are looking forward to growing significantly and have a need to expand our systems to ensure we are performing and delivering at our best.

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the planning, execution, and evaluation of a diverse range of complex projects. They establish and refine management systems, tools, and project management standards across the organization. Initially focusing on a growing portfolio of development agencies and government grants, the SPM oversees project lifecycles from concept design to completion. Reporting to the COO, they collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the seamless design and implementation of projects, serving as the primary liaison with project sponsors, and external funders, throughout.
