What is it?
The Round Table on Responsible Soy Association (RTRS) is a non-profit organization promoting the growth of production, trade, and use of responsible soy. It works through cooperation with those in and related to, the soy value chain, from production to consumption. It does this through:

- The development, implementation, and verification of a global certification standard.
The RTRS includes individual geographic task forces to communicate and monitor RTRS global and local activities, initiatives, and projects. These are currently focused on Brazil. Argentina, Paraguay, and Europe.
- Legal Compliance and Good Business Practices;
- Responsible Labor Conditions;
- Responsible Community Relations;
- Environmental Responsibility; and
- Good Agricultural Practices.
What is it?
A map produced by the RTRS – Round Table on Responsible Soy Association designed to guide responsible soy production in Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. The map identifies biodiversity hotspots that should not be converted, areas that have been deforested post the 2008 Soy Moratorium, as well as areas that are open to expansion (some with certain restrictions).
What is it?
The RTRS Standard for Responsible Soy Production is a holistic certification scheme covering 108 mandatory and progressive compliance indicators across the following five principles:
The standard ensures zero deforestation and zero conversion soy production. Efforts are made to reduce emissions and increase sequestration of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) on the farm are also included. Other issues, which are relevant to GHG emissions are covered under other principles including the use of fertilizers, and land-use change.
The RTRS Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard describes the requirements for the different traceability systems an organization can implement to keep control of RTRS-certified material inventories, either soybean or soy byproducts.
It can be applied across the entire supply chain and it is mandatory for organisations wishing to receive, process and trade RTRS soy.
The RTRS Chain of Custody Standard is also applicable for RTRS-certified corn.
