We are excited to introduce our latest updates to Seafood Metrics, designed to streamline the seafood sourcing data reporting process for suppliers. These enhancements will simplify reporting tasks and enhance accuracy.
1. Enhanced Manual Data Entry
Quickly search for and manage fishery or farm data with the new “Search for Data” feature on the Manual Data Entry page.
We understand the importance of managing fishery and farm data accurately. That’s why we’ve introduced a powerful new feature on the Manual Data Entry page: the “Search for Data” button. This tool allows you to quickly locate and manage previously reported profiles of fisheries or farms. Whether you need to edit, remove, or duplicate a profile for a new business period, this functionality simplifies the task.
To duplicate a reported profile for another period, simply click on the “copy” icon to the right of the profile. This action will automatically populate the data into the entry fields at the top of the page, allowing you to efficiently update necessary information, such as volume and reporting period.
2. Improved Upload Tool Functionality
Select specific customers for reporting via the Upload Tool, reducing errors and improving data relevance.
For suppliers who prefer using our “Upload Tool” to submit seafood sourcing data, we’ve introduced a new “Customer Selection” field on the Upload Data page. This new feature allows you to choose specific customers in Seafood Metrics for whom you intend to report. As a result, the Excel workbook will now only include sheets relevant to the selected customers, rather than all linked customers as before.
By focusing solely on the customers you intend to report for at any given time, this upgrade not only enhances user experience but also minimizes errors during data upload.
