Deputy Division Director, Markets Engagement Director
Sam is the Deputy Division Director for Programs and Markets Engagement Director for North America. Prior to joining SFP, Sam worked in the Sustainable Seafood Program at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute, where his work focused on engaging the fishing industry and supply chain members in regional seafood sustainability initiatives. With SFP, Sam works closely to support SFP's North American seafood industry partners to develop and implement sustainable seafood policies, while acting as a lead representative between SFP staff and members of the seafood supply chain that are engaging in improvement projects. Sam received a MA in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island. He currently resides Rhode Island.
