The annual Conservation Alliance for Seafood Solutions conference brings together CASS members from leading NGOs, businesses, foundations, and academia to share emerging trends, celebrate achievements, and forge partnerships with new and old colleagues in the sustainable seafood community. Two SFP staff members are participating in this year’s 15th annual conference:

  • SFP CEO Jim Cannon will speak as part of a session on “Worker/Community Voice Systems, Data, and Impact in the Seafood Sector: Tech Demo and Ecosystem Discussion on Day 1 (October 22).
  • Cannon will also be part of a session called “Shaping the Future of FIPs: Lessons, Insights, and the Path Forward” on Day 2 (October 23).
  • SFP FIP Evaluation & External Relations Program Director Indrani Lutchman will participate in the Day 1 Lightning Round, with a presentation called “What’s in a Grade?” about recent updates to SFP’s FIP grading system.
The CASS Conference will take place from October 21-23, 2025, in Waikoloa, Hawaii.
