What is it?

The Retail Soy Group (RSF) is an independent group of international retailers who work collaboratively to find industry-wide solutions to sourcing sustainable soy for their animal feed and human food supply chains. The RSG was formed in 2013 to address a sector-wide gap in addressing the demand for sustainability-produced soya. The group is facilitated by sustainable commodity experts 3Keel LLP.

Its focus is on:

  • Identifying and supporting clean suppliers;
  • Implementing regional approaches to address biome-level solutions;
  • Enhancing the credibility of certification standards; and,
  • Unlocking supply chains.

It has also produced guidance on suggested metrics and methodology for public disclosure on the use of soy within a retail supply chain and e-learning on responsible soy sourcing.
