What is it?

ISCC is a sustainability certification system for all feedstocks and markets.

Depending on the market you would like to supply your sustainable material to, a certain certification system has to be chosen.

Of most relevance to feed and the ingredients it contains are the following:

  • ISCC Non-GMO Food and Feed – a module for the sole certification of non-genetically modified materials and products. It is applicable for food and feed products and completely independent from the general ISCC EU and PLUS sustainability certification on farm/plantation and supply chain level; and,
  • ISCC PLUS covers all types of agricultural and forestry raw materials, biowastes and residues, renewable feedstocks, and fossil materials contributing to the circular economy and bio-economy.
