The Our Ocean conference takes place in Busan, South Korea, from April 28-30, 2025.
SFP Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jim Cannon will participate in a Side Session entitled, “Trends and Policy Requirements for Emerging Technologies in Fisheries Management” on Wednesday, April 30, from 10:50 a.m.-12:20 p.m. in Exhibition Center 1, Room 211.
The session will showcase the latest innovations in monitoring, control, and surveillance (MCS) technologies and participants will discuss challenges and opportunities related to the implementation of these technologies and the policy and regulatory adjustments that are needed to facilitate their use. Jim will speak on public-private collaboration to institutionalize impact to implement emerging technology and policy at scale.
