What is it?

ISCC is a sustainability certification system for all feedstocks and markets.

Depending on the market you would like to supply your sustainable material to, a certain certification system has to be chosen.

Of most relevance to feed and the ingredients it contains are the following:

  • ISCC PLUS covers all agricultural and forestry raw materials, biowastes and residues, renewable feedstocks, and fossil-based waste and residues contributing to the circular economy and bio-economy.
  • ISCC PLUS 205-03 – Non GMO for Food & Feed is a voluntary add-on under ISCC PLUS: Add-ons are superior to the general ISCC PLUS standard. In case of the certification of crops not containing genetically modified organisms, the audit scope must be extended by using the add-on ISCC PLUS 205-03 – Non GMO for Food & Feed.
