The Seafood Alliance for Legality and Traceability (SALT) presented a workshop, “Comprehensive Traceability to Combat Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing in Latin America and the Caribbean,” on November 9, 2021, at 9:00 am PDT
The workshop brought implementers together to share their successes and challenges and to identify regional opportunities and needs for traceability and counter-IUU fishing efforts. Workshop participants heard from producer country government representatives and their NGO partners about how they have leveraged both collaboration and technology to achieve their traceability objectives.
