SFP Chief Executive Officer Jim Canon will discuss co-management of fisheries as part of the Day 2 Keynote Session, “Movements in Japan and Asia: Reflecting on the progress to date and setting the roadmap to 2030 – Part 2.”

Jim Cannon will also participate in the summit’s closing session, “Mapping the path to the 2030 goal of ‘Win the Mainstream’ with sustainable seafood,” sharing his views on progress on sustainable seafood in Japan and Asia over the last decade.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Tokyo Sustainable Seafood Summit. The summit is hosted by Seafood Legacy and brings together representatives from industry, NGOs, resource management, blue finance, government, and international organizations. This year’s theme is “Win the Mainstream: Nature-Positive, Ensuring Global Food Security and Respecting Human Rights.”
