At The Sustainable Seafood Summit (TSSS) in Osaka, SFP Supply Chain Roundtable Director Carmen González-Vallés participated in a panel highlighting the importance of pre-competitive collaborations and emphasized the need to strengthen governance and transparency within these initiatives. During the discussion, Seafood Legacy also announced the launch of a new pre-competitive platform in Japan, aiming to foster collective action among seafood stakeholders.

TSSS has been held each year in Japan since 2015. Formerly known as the Tokyo Sustainable Seafood Summit, the event took place in Osaka this year, its first time outside of Tokyo, from October 1-2, 2025, at the Osaka International Convention Center (Grand Cube Osaka).
