SFP co-hosted two events at the 26th-annual Conxemar International Frozen Seafood Exhibition:
- SFP and Pesca Sustentable brought together industry leaders, European market representatives, and delegates from jumbo flying squid-producing countries to analyze the status of the resource and its market impacts. The panel emphasized three key points: the need for regional cooperation, growing market uncertainty from fluctuating supply, and increased demand for traceability and responsible production across the value chain. - Also at the event, SFP and the Hualaihué Fishermen’s Federation presented the Artisanal Southern Hake Fishery Improvement Project (FIP).
Conxemar (the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters and Processors of Fishery and Aquaculture Products) hosts the annual International Frozen Seafood Exhibition, bringing together nearly 30,000 seafood wholesalers, importers, exporters, manufacturers, and more from around the world. This year’s exhibition took place from October 7-9, 2025, in Vigo, Spain.
