FIP Manager, Indonesia



Tita Nopitawati works for SFP as a Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) Manager in Indonesia. She has an MSc degree in Aquaculture Education from Bogor Agricultural University. She previously worked for the Indonesia Pole & Line and Hand Line Fisheries Association (AP2HI). Tita has also lectured in the diploma program at Bogor Agricultural University and she has a background working with NGOs such as Wetlands International Indonesia and Yayasan Telapak, which is responsible for maintaining relations and communications with government and private-sector stakeholders for the Mangrove Capital Project. She has worked with government authorities and the private sector on aquaculture and coastal management issues including Aquaculture Stewardship Council certification schemes.
