Large Pelagics Manager

Teddy Alberto Escarabay is Large Pelagics Manager for SFP in Latin America, based in Ecuador. He studied biology and has experience in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and in large pelagic fisheries. Prior to SFP he worked as Coordinator of the shark and mahi National Action Plans at the Ministry of Aquaculture and Fishing of Ecuador. He also worked as CITES Manager Authority and has conducted projects and consultancies related to the sustainable use of biodiversity. He holds a MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland).
